How I Switched to My Own Domain

alternative goth girl gothic lolita outfit black lipstick septum

Just a quick post to share with you guys how excited I am to finally have my own domain! <3
It's a bit confusing if you're not a computer person, took me a couple of hours, but it's manageable, just follow the steps in this video.
Now the domain name is different from my blog name, but the same as my Facebook page name. For some reason, retroelectric is a premium domain and expensive, and I feel like Glam Retro Style are three more commonly searched words.. I bought it for 2 years on godaddy.com and it cost me about $20. My blog is still hosted by Blogspot though.
In the end, have some random pics I took for the Ladies in Black page birthday, go give them a like if you haven't, and look at me bein' all goffic and all xp

Today I'm here to give you an honest review on Sammydress.com!

First of all, let me tell you how much I love this site, it's pretty much my fave store ever! They have everything anyone could ever want, I think I've never seen such a wide selection of fashion, it took me literally three days to see everything! They have home and gardening, beauty and kids section as well. Also, notice how the models on the website are of all shapes and sizes, and not necessarily labeled "plus size" which I love! So by all means go and check them out, I'm sure you'll find something! The package came in about three weeks and the customer service is amazingly kind!

Since I couldn't decide what to get first, I got what I ALWAYS wanted:
-A fake septum ring: I've never missed a jewelry trend, mark my words! And the rhinestones bling so much, it's insane, it's like you can't even concentrate on the face from this gorgeous piece of jewelry! Since it's such a statement piece, you can't wear it every day and with every outfit, I decided to get a fake one. You can even change it easily and get different colors such as gold, rose gold etc. The material is stainless. Another good news is it doesn't fall off - it survived a night of drinking, dancing and headbanging, and I got many compliments for it and my cross tights! It was only $2.67
-Slimming cross tights: I always wanted one of those suspender looking kind of tights, and I am obsessed with crosses, so when I saw these, I knew what I had to do! And like I said, others feel the same - everyone kept asking me where I got them. I was a little worried about one size, but they're really stretchy and fit perfectly! I expected the lower part to be darker though, but that can easily be solved by wearing over the knee socks, like i usually do. They were about $7.
-The fake leather skater skirt: another must have. I actually had one similar to this, but though i tried it on before buying, it always felt too long and too wide, I never felt good wearing it. So I decided to get a smaller one. This was one size only as well, but also fits well, no need to worry. The material is just like leather, came a little wrinkled in the mail, but that's no big problem. The important thing is the length and width are perfect, I can wear it with every outfit. Now, because the skirt is high waste the shirt looks a little wrinkled as well. The skirt was really a bargain, about $6!
-The shirt - has a large Bitchcraft sign written in gothic font, in case you can't see it because of my...curves :p And it's also filled with all possible occult symbols, I love it. The only thing is that material is a little disappointing and it makes it look a little lighter, more like grayish than black, but I guess it's good for the price. It fits really great though. The price was $9.61
-The skull ring - is what surprised me most since it's even more gorgeous in person, it's so blingy, the natural light doesn't do it justice, so I had to take another pic indoors! The material is alloy so it doesn't stain or anything, I never wanna take it off! The price is $3.73

What do you think? What's your favorite item?

P.S. Aaaand I almsot forgot the winner of the free Firmoo glasses is - Corinne Watson <3
Thnks for participating!
